Sarlince is a 40-year-old mother of four children. She is married to Daniel, a 43-year-old fisherman.
Sarlince is a fishmonger who spends an average of 3 to 5 hours a day selling fish at the local market. She goes to the market early in the morning to sell fish caught by her husband. Both of them are working together in order to fulfill their family's needs.
Currently, the price of fish in the market is increasing because of the west monsoon, so fishmongers must have bigger capital because of the high price and limitation of fish in the market. Therefore, Sarlince really wants to get loan support. By having additional capital, she can afford to provide adequate fish stock to be sold.
To make it happen, Sarlince applied for a loan from TLM cooperative, in the amount of IDR 3,000,000. This loan would be spent mostly for fish and the rest for her daily needs. Sarlince is expecting that her plans can be realized and her business can be well improved.
