Maxmilian's story

Maxmilian is 49 years old, married, and a hard-working father of seven children. Four are still in school, and the rest are done with school. He is a carpenter; he makes and sells furniture such as cabinets, chairs, tables, and doors. He has been in this business for 20 good years. He normally opens his business at 8:00 A.M. and closes at 6:00 P.M. every working day. He makes a good profit.

This will be Maxmilian's third loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used his previous loans to add treated timber, chipboard, add straw, and cover family needs. He earned a good profit that was used to pay school fees for his children and repay the loan. Maxmilian is applying to add different types of wood and tools such as a smoothing plane, coping saw, chisel set, bevel-gauge-making knife, and combination square. His biggest dream is to open another business someday.
