Comfort - Liberia

Fish Selling

A loan helped to buy more fish and other food items to sell.

Comfort's story

Comfort is 39 years old, single and lives in Liberia. She is a business woman with 3 children. All her children are presently living at home while attending school.

She never had the opportunity to attend school. She runs a business where she sells fish and other food. She learned the trade by herself and started selling with some financial help from her mother.

She is requesting this loan to buy more fish and other food items to sell so as to make more profit and be able to take care of her needs. She is proud of her business because it helps her pay her children school fees.

In the future she would like continue sending her children to school and to become an international business woman. She says thanks for your support.

This loan is special because:

It serves low-income individuals in rural Liberia where few alternative funding sources exist.
