In Japan, “Godai” represents the five elements of earth, water, fire, wind and void.

Besides being a physical description of matter, it’s also a symbol of human nature.

Earth (chi) symbolizes having stability and being grounded, while water (sui) symbolizes having flexibility and being fluid.

The philosophy teaches the importance of finding a proper balance between the elements.

So here’s to finding the perfect balance between earth and water, whether in your travels or in your personal life.
