"A random act of kindness from a stranger is what led me to the fabric! I went on a rainforest tour at the start of my trip, and I was talking to my driver about Taaluma Totes and needing to find local fabric. He told me that he would take me into the city of Liberia after the rainforest tour, since he knew of a fabric shop that the locals would go to. His act of kindness to go out of his way to take me into the city brought me to this unique Costa Rican fabric that is now turned into totes and shared with the world!" —Mia Casciani
