Diane Shanklin: I bought the fabric in Auckland, New Zealand. This was our second trip to NZ and we will go back soon! The place is lovely but, even more importantly, they are the friendliest people we have ever met! ALL of them! And we travel a LOT. Twice around the world, over 80 countries and all 50 states in the US. We love NZ. We are avid cyclists, so we rented bikes and rode in Auckland (great bicycle infrastructure) and in the countryside outside of the city. We also had a fantastic private kayaking tour from the mainland to Rangitoto Island (5 miles each way) and a beautiful hike to the top of the Island. The views of the city were fabulous! A great eating spot is Elliott Stables-a huge food stall venue. Fun and tasty!
