Serah is an inventive and inspiring small-scale farmer who hails from the Kerugoya region of Kenya. She is married and blessed with children. Serah loves and adores her family, and despite the many encounters she has gone through while bringing up her beautiful children, she has always cared and provided for them. Serah takes care of both her household and her farming business. Her cows produce milk that she sells to her neighbors. She also plants crops in her small farm, mainly for domestic consumption in a move to counter the rising food prices.
Serah wants to utilize all her farm by planting more crops for commercial purposes. She wants to plant maize and vegetables in a rotational program that she learned in a farmers' training session. She believes that she will be able to increase her profit and get more income to provide for her family.
Serah has applied for this loan so that she can buy fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to use on her farm. She is a visionary who will always hope for the best. She has promised to repay her loan and is very thankful to her lenders for believing in her and making her dreams come true.
