Maria's story
Maria (29) is a married woman and has 3 children; two of them are at elementary school. Most women in her village are working as vegetable sellers and Maria is one of them. She has been running the business for 7 years and she works from 4 am to 9 am every day. In the afternoon she has to buy vegetables from the farmer to be sold on the following day. The rest of day is totally given for her family.
Lately, Maria is thinking about initiating a pig breeding business. The pig will be fed for one or two months and sold for Christmas and New Year’s celebration later. Therefore she joined with TLM’s loan product and received amounting of IDR 3,000,000. This loan support will enable her to buy 1 piglet and more vegetables to be sold.
