Loan from Vietnam

Thank you for supporting us, so we can support people like Loan. Your purchase helped fund a microloan to help buy acacia trees.

Loan is 51 years old and currently lives with her family in Ngọc Lặc District. She belongs to an ethnic minority group in Vietnam. Her family has two dependents: her second child, who is 17 years old and currently in grade 12, and her husband, who has suffered a stroke and lost his ability to work.

With over 20 years of farming experience, she works diligently to support her household. In addition to farming, she also takes domestic helper jobs to earn extra income. Despite her hard work, her family is still classified as a low-income household in the community. Loan decided to take this loan to invest in planting acacia trees, hoping to use the funds to buy quality seedlings and cover cultivation expenses. She believes that healthy trees will provide her with a more stable and sustainable income in the future.

One of the main challenges she faces is that her home is located far from the town center, which makes life and work more difficult. Looking ahead, she hopes for good health, happiness, and a more prosperous future for her family so she can build savings to prepare for potential risks such as illness or unemployment.

This loan is important because it supports women from ethnic communities and single parent families.
