A loan helped to process more mobile phone airtime credits and bill payment transactions on weekends.
Laras's story
Laras is single and living with four persons in the family home in Cibubur, a suburban area located about 30 minutes from Jakarta. Laras runs a small stall which sells snacks, drinks, groceries, mobile phone airtime credits, and services bill payments. She joined Ruma because she wanted to expand her business. She is glad that her business got assisted and supported by Ruma agents.
For the last three months, she has got around $77-$78 per day sales on average, just from selling mobile phone airtime credits. She hopes to get a working capital loan from Kiva to process more mobile phone airtime credits and bill payment transactions on weekends when more people tend to come to her stall. In the future, she is planning to seek more business opportunities. In the photo, Laras is standing in front of her small stall. Laras thanks you for your support.
