Sew-cial Distancing

July 03, 2020

It’s Feel Good Friday and we got some good news for ya! So which do you want first… the good news… or more good news?

Good news: We’re so excited to announce that we’ve been given the green light to start making totes again! (Back in April, we were deemed non-essential so we had to stop tote production due to the Governor’s COVID orders).

More good news: For the past 3 months, we turned our attention to making face masks for our customers and donating face masks to hospital workers (don't worry, we didn’t go into hibernation mode. If anything, we got busier producing all these face masks).

With your support, we’ve been able to donate thousands of masks to hospitals and clinics all around America!

Thank you so much for helping us make a difference in so many medical communities!

And more good news: In June, we started seeing many hospitals get the stock of masks they need. This is largely due to businesses, governments, and hospitals coming together to figure out how to allocate resources for our medical professionals. Great teamwork all the way around!

We know that this isn’t over yet and that there's still a bunch of unknowns.

That being said, we’re optimistic that better things are coming. Right now, we’re researching different areas to support with microloans that will benefit as many people as possible and help get more families back on their feet following this pandemic. And we’ll be continuing our mask donations as long as there is still a need in the medical community.

From all of us at Taaluma, we hope you have a great 4th of July. Don't forget to stay safe, cover your face, and wash your hands. And remember that sew-cial distancing really means “physical distancing,” it doesn’t mean distancing yourself from having a good time with the people you love.

Here’s to coming together as a nation and to loving one another & to feeling good—because after all, it’s Friday!
