For the Long(yi) Haul

For the Long(yi) Haul

In Myanmar, the "longyi" is a traditional fabric wrap worn around the waist of men and women of all ages. Even in the modern day capital of Yangoon, you will see most people wearing a longyi, whether it is in the office or doing normal daily activities. - Traveler Aaron John
To withstand everyday use, longyis have to be durable, comfortable, and practical.

They're not just ready for the road less traveled—they're ready for the marathon.
We strive for the same thing with our backpacks: we want them to be durable, comfortable, and practical...and not to forget, super super cute!!!

We hope to be like the long-term relationship you’ve been looking for: low maintenance, high durability, and always ready for an adventure ;)

We're tote-ally in it for the long(yi) haul!
Here’s to being a dependable, reliable friend (or backpack in our case), & to feeling good - because after all, it’s Friday

"The first Taaluma tote I had was my daily diaper bag for 2 children and it lasted 2 years! I'd say I more than got my moneys worth. I'd still be using it but my wonderful Mother-in-law gifted me the Israeli Taaluma tote as my second one and I absolutely love it! Its the perfect size for me. Straps are so comfortable. Very durable as it is again my daily bag. I love this company and all the fabulous works its doing!” - Leehe

“I've purchased a lot of backpacks in my life but never have I had one that is this well made. Not just beautiful but incredibly durable. And what an amazing company! Thank you so much for all you do!” - Heather
