A Tan’gible Difference

A Tan’gible Difference

Traveler Patricia recently visited Tanzania as part of a service project.

She volunteers for the Kisangaji Project, a non-profit that focuses on helping meet the needs of the school and local infrastructure in the village of Kisangaji in Tanzania.

“The Kisangaji Project [is] a non-profit organization that supports education, clean water and medical care for Kisangaji, an impoverished remote village. My first trip out of the US was to Kisangaji. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Since then, I have made it my personal mission to raise funds for education, recreation and other needs of the children.” - Patricia W

Since 2008, the Kisangaji Project has helped:
- Provide access to clean water to the village through 4 wells
- Build homes, classrooms, and a bridge over the river
- Purchase many school supplies
- Establish and provide supplies for a medical clinic in the village

Now that’s a Tan‘gible difference!

Patricia found fabric as part of her fundraising efforts to support this amazing non-profit. She is committed to donating the funds received from the Taaluma tote sales to the Kisangaji Project so that more good can be done in Kisangaji, Tanzania.

Here’s to making a Tan’gible difference in the world & to feeling good - because after all, it’s Friday.
