A Mighty Rhine Time

April 02, 2021

Traveler Christa wasn’t going to let the COVID pandemic keep her from going outside.

So she packed up her camper van, got her mountain bike ready, and cycled around some amazing spots in Germany.

From the depths of the Black Forest

(and the fields of ger-many Lupines),

to the slopes of the Odenwald

(and the cute doppelgänger ducks),

to the hills of Wiesbaden

(and its buildings that I’d rate nein out of ten for awesomeness...just kidding, it’s a ten out of ten for me),

Christa sure had a mighty Rhine time enjoying the beauty of nature.

So whether you’re a kindergartner, a Dachshund, or just a traveler consumed with wanderlust...

Here’s to getting some sun & to feeling good - because after all, it’s Friday.

P.S. Plus a joke I found on the internet that made me smile.

How do you know something is made in Germany?

You check the Guten Tag! :)

A Rwanda'ring Hero

May 06, 2022

Kigali is a beautiful hilly city, quite green and very clean. People are super nice and eager to tell you about their history, including the genocide. Rwanda does not allow plastic bags, so, unlike other African countries, there is no plastic flying around or laying on the streets.
